Reason Education gives teachers an AI assistant that doesn’t just mark a student’s answer. It reads their working out and explains where the technique went right or wrong.
The gap.
The assessment programs schools already use show a teacher whether an answer was right. They don’t show why. A wrong answer could be a slip, a missed step or a technique the student never understood, and the only way to tell is for the teacher to go through every page of working out by hand.
What it does.
Students complete their mathematics assessments in the app, with a space to show their working. The AI reads that working, marks the answer and explains to the teacher where the student went wrong with the technique, or what they did well.
From there it builds a picture of each student: where they’re at, what they need more teaching on, and where they’re strong. Teachers get the insight without the hours of marking.

Like everything we make, it’s built, hosted and looked after by Zaur on servers in Australia. We keep it secure, fix what breaks and keep improving it, so the business that uses it never has to think about the software underneath.
