About Zaur
Software that does the work. Not more work.
Zaur is an Australian software company. We build, host and look after software for businesses, and charge for it as one monthly subscription with nothing up front. We’re based in Melbourne, with offices in Queensland and Jakarta.
Why we work this way.
Custom software usually starts with a big invoice. A business pays tens of thousands of dollars before it has seen anything work, then pays again for hosting, fixes and changes. All the risk sits with the business.
We turned that around. We carry the cost of the build, we own and run the software, and the business pays a set monthly fee once it’s working for them. Because we own it, we can improve it for one business and roll that improvement out to every business using it. That keeps the fee low and the software getting better.
Where we are.
Melbourne is home. It’s where we design and build, and where most of our clients are.
Queensland keeps us close to the trucking, logistics and mining businesses we build for up north.
Jakarta, Indonesia is our newest office. We work there with freight and logistics businesses on software innovation, and on document and legal support software for supplement and vitamin companies.
Wherever we build, Australian clients’ software and data are hosted on servers in Australia. More on how we look after data.
Who brings us ideas.
A lot of what we build starts with someone who knows an industry from the inside: a salesperson, an operator, a manager who can see the problem every business in their field has. They bring us the idea, we build it, they sell it and earn a share of every subscription. That’s Zaur Partners.
